Description:
This song has a very deep meaning which is why I like it.
The song begins with Budden's voice lingering around talking about some of his struggles
through life. Towards the end of the verse, Joe begins to realize that he's not going to let
his depression get to him or bring him down. Just as he begins to convince himself that depression is no match for him, he gets interrupted by Frank Ocean who does the exact opposite- and decides to end it all.
I tried to play it off as if Joe was Frank's inner conscious trying to overcome the depression by looking at the world's problems- financial distress, disease, etc.
